Yesterday started just like the others, but we had to say goodbye to Darlin, she had to return home to Georgia but we are praying she can return by Christmas. Then swim and then a stop by the house. There was little change on the outside, but once we looked inside there is a change. The windows and one door have been delivered!!

The afternoon then got a little chaotic. Our family was given four tickets to go to a concert at Artpark. I had asked several local friends to go with us, but in the end it all came together within minutes of us leaving the house. Thank you so much to Annemarie for being able to devote your time to Jesse, we are blessed to have you as part of our lives. When we arrived at Artpark we were told that we had parked in the wrong parking lot and had to wait in line, but simply by asking for help, I was able to get escorted ( along with Michele, who had never been blessed like that) to the top of the hill by golf cart, so I was able to save my energy for the show. We then as a group; Cassandra, Dalene, Chris, Michele, Jeremy and I, met with Phillip Phillips and had our photo taken with him. What a sweet young man, nice to get to know a little about him, and him being from Georgia- brought with him that sweet southern drawl and personality. After a little wait we meet with the band, O.A.R., another blessing for sure. If you have never meet a famous person, it is a treat, but it was nice to see their "humble" side. So many times you see the negative stuff, but these guys are no different than any of us, except they have been blessed with a gift of talent, and have chosen to use it. Meeting O.A.R. as a group, I felt like I had shaken everyone's hand, but then felt a hand on my back, I turned around to see two of the band members, we introduced our salves and then began to talk. I shared a little about our story and then our blog, this young man instantly looked up this blog, and agreed to follow it, ( I am unsure if he will or not- but it was neat to see him look it up). We had our photo with him as well. It was only afterwards that I discovered "who" I was actually talking to. I am unsure if I want to admit this; but I have never been good at matching names with song, I love music, and listen to all kinds, song is a gift. I was talking to; and he looked up my blog, and he told me about his children, the lead singer Marc! How neat is that? We then sat down in a nice area with chairs and all, to enjoy the show. We didn't stay for the entire show, knowing it would be rough to get out of Lewiston after. A nice night enjoyed by all!! Thank you again to Phillip Phillips and O.A.R. for joining in with and supporting Habitat for Humanity here and around the world.
ps. I will post pictures later of the meet and greet!
I have had two dear friends that have offered to help me raise the funds for the appliance fund. Corrina and Amy, all I can say is THANK YOU!!
There is 100 squares, selling for $5 each. When the 100 squares are sold, one square will chosen randomly, & the lucky winner will get $200 worth of 31 products. If we are able to fill this board completely up, $300 will be put towards the family appliance fund.
I LOVE 31 bags!!
Please let me know what numbers that you would like?
