Saturday Update

As I have ended this week of chaos, as I mentioned last night, I am still at a loss to why my photos didn't sync but it seems to be working again, but I have five days missing. I will have to work on making it all up, so forgive me in advance if things seem out of whack for a few days. The first photo is of one of the mission teams that blessed my family, from Mississippi. They had spent an hour at the house earlier in the week and then four had come back and put in a morning of hard labor before their flight back home. Thank you again.

Limbs from Saturday

More limbs

Fast forward a week from when the team was there, and this was today, Jesse and I showed up for what I had thought was a work day. I can only say lack of communication. Jesse and I did work just over 1.5 hours, we stacked firewood, and branches to clean up the back some more. ( Ryan C. from church had stopped by last weekend and took down four more trees that were dead). There is still so much work to be done. I believe that I have someone to come get the firewood tomorrow afternoon.

I also have the pleasure or headache of picking out some tile for the kitchen, bathrooms, and front entryway. For those that know me, know that I don't have a decorating bone in my body. So I need help. I went into Home Depot and learned a little bit about ceramic tile vs porcelain tile, and was advised to purchase a few sample tile to take home, look at in different lightings before I decided on one for sure ( or four different ones), I let Jesse pick out a few of his favorites since he was with me. Please let me know what your favorite's are.

Jesse and I are working on memorizing some verses. " I am with you always, even till the end of the age" Matthew 28 :20  "We are God's masterpiece." Ephesians 2:10    I am trying very hard to remember that this is not me in charge, God knew the daily struggles that I am facing. I know that He is with me, just wish we were in the new house and not this one, still thanking his for his protection.
